Cory closed his eyes enjoying his girlfriend’s embrace. The days had gone by so slow without her with him. He was just praying she didn’t complain. She had just had a baby and they needed the income to ensure their lifestyles stayed the same, maybe even improve. Dianna had given him such a hard time about put the road before her and his kids, and if Amber did that he’d probably just feel like utter crap. He smelled her hair and enjoyed her sweet perfume.”I love you so much.”He told her first. He was amazed the babies were so quiet. He pulled her inside and smiled.”Oh Amber I missed you guys so much. How have you been? I hope you’re not to worn out. I can’t explain how much I appreciate you taking care of my kids.”He said.”Di is coming to get the kids, she’s taking them to Paris.”
Amber smiled as he told her he loved her, “I love you too boo” she told him, cuddling into his chest. “We all missed you too Cory” she paused sighing and glancing at the three babies who were giggling at the television, “Honestly…worn out, tired lonely” she told him looking into his eyes, “Cory those twins are like my step children, I love them” she told him, immedietly shutting up and kicking herself internally when she said step children like her and Cory were married. She glanced at the twins, grimacing, “I hope she and the kids have fun, I’m gonna miss those tykes” she told him glancing up at him and smiling. She missed having him around. ‘How was your tour babe” she asked him, hugging him again taking in his familiar scent.
It meant so much to Cory that Amber loved his kids and took care of them when he was far away. He owed that women a lot.”They will be your step children, soon.”He promsed as he brought her to the couch. He picked up Mark and gave him a kiss.”My poor boy been surrounded by girls . Daddy is back dude.”He smirked.”We’ll see them soon. Dianna isn’t doing so good, I think it will do her some good to be with all of them.”
